How it all started

The original idea for the Holistic Directory came about as a result of a conversation with a local group of healers. A couple of the healers had received quite desperate and distressed calls from potential clients who lived more than two hours drive away, right at the other side of the county.

It made the group who began this directory wonder why those clients hadn't been able to find a healer or therapist closer to their home, because they did exist, but the person in need of help couldn't find them.

It appears that therapists and healers can often have difficulty letting people know about their services, so it is obvious that there is a real need for a solution to help both those seeking help and those offering it.

So the Holistic Directory was born!

Now we have added a full article and blog resource to the site so that those looking for help and guidance can find information about holistic, complementary and alternative therapies, remedies and treatments here.

With so many knowledgeable therapists registered in the directory we felt sure many would like to share their knowledge with our constantly growing readership.

We hope that both those participating in the building of this resource and those seeking information and guidance enjoy and benefit from using this website.
